Terms & Conditions

GENERAL

By confirming and proceeding with the installation, you guarantee that you have full authority to allow the installation and no other consent is needed. SECURTECH will endeavour to commence work as scheduled but cannot accept any responsibility or liability whatsoever for any claim arising in connection with any delay in production or completion howsoever caused. To ensure consistency of installation, quality & service our engineers will perform pre and post installation checks on the equipment and will photograph completed installations. 


WARRANTY 

All products installed and/or sold by SECURTECH are covered under a minimum 12 months manufacturer warranty. For products found to have defect in quality or condition within its warranty period, a ‘like for like’ replacement of similar specification will be given. This manufacturer warranty will not cover accidental damage, mis-use, or negligence and it does not cover labour and/or delivery charges. In the event of any replacement provided under this warranty, and where a service engineer was required to attend your premises, a call-out fee of £80 will be chargeable (except for the first 3 months). However, this service charge will be waived if you have already taken out an annual service contract with SECURTECH.

CCTV & ALARM

Our products do not eliminate the events they are intended to detect, avert or record and any loss, cost or expense arising from such events, even where our products failed, is your sole risk.

On the day of the scheduled installation, to configure CCTV on your mobile phone for remote viewing the following is required: an active ISP, static public IP & Router IP address, user name and password. If we are unable to configure you may incur further charges to remotely configure or revisit to complete the setup. 

SECURTECH cannot be held liable for client IT issues such as change of router, failed connection, change of internet service provider, re-set of router, new mobile phone, loss of settings on the router or a new operating system.


SIGNAGE & GRAPHICS

Artwork must be checked for spelling error or missing content, on visual proofs sent to you. Once you approve artwork, it will then be ‘Print Ready’ at this stage you will be charged for any alterations as production would have already started (charges will vary). Colour proofs; due to differences in equipment, paper, inks and other conditions between colour proofing and production runs, a reasonable variation in colour between colour proofs and the completed job will be deemed acceptable.

PRICE MATCH GUARANTEE

Product must be ‘like for like’, with regards to the specifications and offering the same turnaround. Every effort will be made to price match, this will be seen as our best endeavour and we have every intention to do our best to match or beat the price. However, all price match promise SECURTECH are handled at the sole discretion of SECURTECH we reserve the right to decline the request.


CANCELLATION & REFUND

Due to nature of some products we sell, reimbursements for products already printed or being printed are not possible. It is possible to cancel a service that have not already been produced, sent to print or where installation is yet to commence. In that case, we are entitled to charge 10% of this invoice plus a £25 administration fee to cover time spent processing for the service. 


The terms and conditions given in this contract do not affect your rights under the Sale of Goods Act or Unfair Contract Terms Act.
